Elephants walking through Tarangire baobab forest

Tarangire

A quieter park, my favorite. Hundreds of elephants moving through baobab cathedrals, bush dinners under stars I'll teach you to name.

If the Serengeti is Africa's stage, Tarangire is its green room — quieter, more intimate, full of animals who don't expect applause.

The elephants here move like slow gray ships through baobab forests. During the dry season, hundreds gather along the river. Some baobabs are over a thousand years old — the Maasai say they were planted upside down by angry gods.

This safari moves slower. We take walking safaris if you want them. We do night drives when the park allows. We wait for the golden light.

This is where I bring families, photographers, and people who've already done the big parks and want something deeper. For anyone tired of chasing lions and ready to just sit in the presence of wild things.
